Children of the Night

Goth magazine has been doing some really interesting crafts lately, in particular this bracelet is very cool. The bleak, starkness with the pops of red reminds me of the beautiful illustrations for Matsuri Hino's " Vampire Knight. "

Louis: Vampires pretending to be humans, pretending to be vampires.
Claudia: How avant-garde.

" You read too many comic books. "

What I did: Took a candy colored, carnival set, Teen Vogue prom spread and intertwined it with brightly colored, 1950s comic books.

And I even snuck in a " Rebel Without a Cause " reference.

Russian Dressing

I loved last September's Teen Vogue with Anne Hathaway. I especially loved how she described the shoot: "When I first saw the clothes," enthuses two–time Teen Vogue cover girl Anne Hathaway, "I said, it looks kind of like what Anastasia [in the 1997 animated film] would have put on the first minute she found out she was actually Russian royalty.' She's mixing the knits that have kept her warm with the glam stuff she inherited from her grandmother."

I'm a big Romanov geek, who loves fashion. And animation.

" WAR! It ain't nothing but a heartbreaker "

SpinDaily, I love you. Their " Shopping with Kate Moennig " video is also excellent.

I have your face on my shirt.

Who out there saw Factory Girl? And if so, who played Nico in it?

"People first, then money, then things, then jackets."

Most likely everyone knows that Suzabelle makes beautiful clothing. Especially their jackets. The only problem. They're a tad expensive (upwards of $125). So with fall approaching, where can you find the cool, structured style of Suzabelle, on a budget?

The Gap has been looking pretty good lately. I especially like this particular jacket. Its $78, but hopefully by the time it is actually cold enough to wear it, it will be on sale.

But my heart truely belongs to this Gap jacket, which I came upon whilst reading Nylon magazine. Too bad the website doesn't seem to sell it yet.
